Im suprised nobody posted this already...pretty amazing that these issues are still going on. The Z06 forums have been complaining of this issue since the very beginning, and there has been lots of coverage in the automotive media-

Apparently the Z06 MT was testing could barely make it a lap or two around Laguna(which is a relatively short track) without going into limp mode. Pretty bad showing for the Corvette engineers...I hope they get this resolved soon, I would be pissed if I spent close to $100k on a car marketed as track capable, and couldn’t snap off a few flying laps at full power. It really is a shame, because by all accounts the car is awesome when it is working correctly.

The whole emissions game with new car manufacturers is funny. They can’t win no matter how the play the game. Tune the car to perform and dammed the emissions test ala VW, you are hosed. Tune the car to pass and people riff about performance ala GM and the Vette.

I was just reading the article on the BDC and apparently the whole engine in the Vette was having issues even the engineers GM sent to the track couldn't figure out. Something is seriously fucking wrong with the LT4 in the Vette. CTS-V seems to be doing fine though, which is strange.
